The UV laser marking machine is built around a 355 nm ultraviolet laser using third-order intracavity frequency-tripling technology. Compared with infrared lasers, the 355 nm UV beam focuses to an extremely small spot, greatly reducing mechanical deformation of the material and keeping the heat-affected zone to a minimum.
With its low-power, finely focused beam, the machine is particularly suited to the high-end ultra-fine processing market: marks on polymer packaging are fine, clear, and permanent — outperforming inkjet coding and producing no pollution. It also handles coated metal surfaces, plastic buttons, electronic components, gifts, communication equipment, building materials, and more.
